Differences Between All-on-3 & All-on-4 Implants

At Mile High, we offer both the Trefoil™ All-on-3 and All-on-4™ dental implants. Both are great options for those with significant tooth loss.

Trefoil All-on-3 implantsWhat Are Trefoil™ Dental Implants?

Trefoil™ is a full-arch tooth-replacement system that supports three dental implants. It uses a pre-made adjustable bar that holds the three posts and fabricated teeth made of titanium in place. This is a great alternative to dentures or snap-in dentures since the teeth will be fixed in place to maintain the strength and stability of the jawbone. Plus, since All-on-3 dental implants use fewer implants, recovery time is faster and overall costs are lower.

Created by the same company, the All-on-4™ system replaces all teeth on the top or bottom of a patient’s mouth. A set of fabricated teeth are attached to four dental implants that are fully integrated with the jawbone.

Their Differences

The first difference between the All-on-3™ and All-on-4™ systems is the number of dental implants used. Another difference is that Trefoil™ uses a bar to connect the screws. All-on-3™ dental implants also do not take as long as the full All-on-4™.

With both dental implant options, you’ll have fully functional teeth that look and feel natural. They both provide the stability and aesthetic that you’re looking for in a healthy smile. No need to worry about slipping dentures or missing teeth anymore!
